Dr. Brandon Berguin

Dr. Berguin graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1984 and has practiced in Grand Junction ever since. He is a member of the American Dental Association , the Colorado Dental Association, and the Western Colorado Dental Association. He was recently included in the “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumers Research Council of America. He was also named to Delta Dental’s prestigious “Achieve Network”. Achieve dentists are recognized as providing excellent preventive care and outstanding service to their patients. Dr. Berguin provides all aspects of general dentistry to his patients and has a special passion for implant and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Berguin and his wife, Susanne, have three children: Brandon, Bill, and Brittany.
Dr. Kira Funderburk

Dr. Funderburk received a Bachelor of Science degree from CSU and then went on to graduate from the University Of Colorado School Of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham where she learned advanced techniques in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, patient care, and implants. Following residency, she worked in downtown Chicago for 4 years before moving back to Colorado. Dr. Funderburk strives to deliver quality family dentistry with a gentle touch.. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Western Colorado Dental Association. In 2015, Dr. Funderburk was honored as a top dentist and published in 5280 Magazine. She and her husband, Joe, have a daughter, Chloe,and a son , Cole, who they enjoy taking on hikes and teaching them to be Broncos fans!
Dr. William Berguin

Dr. William Berguin (known by his friends as ‘Bill’) graduated from The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and has relocated back to his hometown of Grand Junction, CO. From 2006 to 2013 he received both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Radiation Biology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. This time afforded him the opportunity to contribute to various research projects. His research took him on a month long research trip to the National Institute of Radiological Sciences in Tokyo, Japan. His area of study focused improving radiation therapy for treatment of Cancer. During his time at the University of Colorado Dental School Dr. Berguin received extensive experience working in community health as well as with Denver veterans. A school periodical recently published an article featuring him and a patient of his and can be viewed here. Dr. Berguin is a member of the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association. He and his wife Jenna are very excited to be back on the western slope!
Preslee Bunch
Registered Dental Hygienist
Preslee graduated from CNCC in 2021 with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has a passion for educating her patients on overall systemic health and wellness as well as prevention. She enjoys paddle boarding, camping, and fishing. Preslee is very excited to get to know her patients!
Beth Pollock
Dental Hygienist
Beth grew up in Iowa where she attended DMACC and graduated in 1981 with an associate’s degree in Arts and Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She then moved to the grand valley in 1989, where she joined Western Slope Dental Center and enjoys the ongoing relationships and caring of her patients. She is a proud mother of a son and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, along with her dog Sam.
Stacie M
Stacie joined the practice in 2007 and is our friendly face as you walk in. Stacie is a 5th generation local to Grand Junction where her and her husband continue the tradition with their two children.
Lyndsey Coup
Lyndsey graduated from the Colorado School of Dental Assisting as a CDA, she the went on to graduate as an EDDA from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She has enjoyed being a part of the Western
Slope Dental Center team since 2007. She was born and raised in Grand Junction, CO. She and her husband, Brian, have a daughter, Kyra and have just added another daughter Grace. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and doing outdoor activities.
Brenna Belcastro
Brenna was born and raised here in Grand Junction Colorado. She graduated from Intellitecs Dental Assistant program in 2016 and has been with Western Slope Dental Center since 2017. In her free time she enjoys hiking and being at home with her boyfriend Logan and their 4 dogs. Brenna really likes being a part of the WSDC team and looks forward to the opportunity of getting to know her patients.
